Diverse interpretation of luxury
Macau’s luxury hospitality landscape finds its heartbeat in Cotai, where some of the world’s most ambitious hotel projects rise side by side. The skyline itself tells a story of design innovation and global influence — City of Dreams - Morpheus, with its architecturally stunning exterior by the late Dame Zaha Hadid, is a landmark of futuristic style, while the Grand Lisboa Palace Macau combines Chinese and Portuguese heritage with crisp contemporary lines and modern comforts. Together, they showcase how Macau bridges past and present in spectacular fashion.
Each property in Cotai offers its own interpretation of luxury and Macau through hotel design. The Banyan Tree Macau brings a resort-inspired wellness ethos to the city, while Palazzo Versace Macau and The Karl Lagerfeld channel bold style-driven design. At the same time, long-established names like the Four Seasons Hotel Macau and The St. Regis Macau continue to embody timeless elegance, with the former designed in a Portuguese-Chinese hybrid style — an expression of Macau’s unique history — and the latter uses design details to transport guests to Macau’s past as a key Portuguese seaport, anchoring them in a strong sense of place.
Other than design, whether through sheer scale and grandness, like The Londoner Macau’s 6,000 rooms and its suites named for members of the royal family, as well as 14 suites designed by David Beckham, or intimate, comfortable settings at The Ritz-Carlton Macau, every hotel here adds a distinct layer to Macau’s hospitality mosaic.
