Since its inaugural launch last year, MICHELIN Guide Dubai’s selection has seen some of the city’s hotspots get the recognition they deserve. So it's no surprise that our Inspectors have been secretly scouring the city of the future for new picks to join the list, including all new distinctions. Before we get into next week’s highly anticipated ceremony, we want to share a sneak peek of the three new Bib Gourmand recipients!

Whether you’re looking to get a taste of Indian and Arabic fusion or to enjoy the likes of Balkan soul food, here are the latest places to visit. Stay tuned for next Tuesday, May 23rd for the full list of MICHELIN Guide Dubai’s newest selections. Mark your calendars right now!

Cuisine: Japanese Contemporary

This local favourite has been around for quite some time and its popularity around Dubai’s residents is still going strong. Known for their vibrant Japanese flavours served on small Asian plates, this restaurant offers a delectable selection of must-try dishes. From uni hand-rolls to bluefin tuna sashimis, juicy Wagyu burgers to their chorizo indomie noodles, enjoy every pocket-friendly bite with a view overlooking the Jumeirah Fishing Harbour.

Cuisine: Balkan

Taking pride in serving some soul-comforting dishes, this urban Balkan bistro’s menu is packed with flavours inspired by homemade family recipes hailing from Eastern Europe, Greece and Turkey. You’ll find it tucked away in the corner of Meyan Mall’s second floor with panoramic views of Dubai in the backdrop. We recommend you try their signature phyllo pie with goat cheese, honey and thyme and their cevapi wagyu beef kebabs served with pickled onions for that tangy taste.

Aamara Restaurant

Cuisine: Indian, Asian

Conceived from the creative minds of the Trèsind group, this restaurant takes you on a trip down India’s Silk Route that journeys along the Mediterranean to Eastern Asia. Every plate finds a way to marry the rich flavours of Indian and Arabic cuisines and fuses both worlds effortlessly – enjoy the butterfly shrimp basted in muhammara, the lamb kebab in steamed bao bun and the hummus dip with spicy chili paste on top. With interiors as colourful as their dishes, this restaurant offers you the choice of a delicious a la carte menu, lunch menu and chef’s menu, with good value of course.
