The MICHELIN Guide Singapore has unveiled its 2025 restaurant selection, spotlighting a dynamic and diverse culinary landscape that continues to evolve and impress. This ninth edition features 288 establishments, including 3 three MICHELIN Star, 7 two MICHELIN Star, and 32 one MICHELIN Star restaurants, as well as 89 Bib Gourmand and 157 MICHELIN Selected addresses—representing over 40 distinct cuisines.
“The ninth edition of the MICHELIN Guide Singapore showcases an extraordinary blend of innovation, cultural diversity, and enduring dedication. Our inspectors are thrilled to see new culinary gems emerge, from Ningbo to Colombian fare, alongside exceptional skills rewarded with a new MICHELIN Star and promotions. We also applaud those who have consistently upheld their distinctions over the years, maintaining exceptional quality and setting a high bar for culinary excellence, thereby enriching Singapore's dynamic dining landscape. Despite market challenges, Singapore remains a vital culinary destination in Southeast Asia, attracting global talent and fostering a rich exchange of ideas,” shares Gwendal Poullennec, the International Director of the MICHELIN Guide.
“This year, the MICHELIN Guide celebrates 125 years of its mission to enhance lifestyle experiences through independent and quality-focused recommendations. The 2025 selection highlights Singapore's unwavering commitment to culinary innovation and its evolving food culture, which will continue to shine brightly on the global stage.”
A New Two Star: Sushi Sakuta Ascends
This year, Sushi Sakuta rises to new heights with a promotion from one to two MICHELIN Stars. Within just two years of entering the Guide, chef-owner Yoshio Sakuta and his all-Japanese team have refined their seasonal omakase to exceptional acclaim. Every detail — down to the precise rice blend — is calibrated for perfection, served in a serene, elegant space anchored by a 200-year-old Nara cypress counter. Sushi Sakuta now joins stalwarts Cloudstreet, Jaan by Kirk Westaway, Meta, Saint Pierre, Shoukouwa, and Thevar in the city’s two-star echelon.
Omakase @ Stevens Shines with Its First MICHELIN Star
Making its MICHELIN Star debut is Omakase @ Stevens, led by chef Kazuki Arimoto, an Osaka native with a decade of Tokyo training. His omakase menu seamlessly melds classic Japanese flavors with French finesse, presented in an intimate 16-seat space that encourages close interaction with the culinary craft. Arimoto’s refined, seasonally attuned creations are a testament to balance, subtlety, and precision — earning him both a MICHELIN Star and this year’s Young Chef Award.
Consistency at the Top
Singapore’s three-starred champions — Les Amis, Odette, and Zén — retain their distinctions, while the broader constellation of 42 MICHELIN Starred restaurants continues to uphold the nation’s reputation as one of Asia’s top dining destinations.
Spotlight on Sustainability
The 2025 edition also continues to recognize leaders in sustainable gastronomy. Seroja (One Star) and Fiz (MICHELIN Selected) maintain their MICHELIN Green Star distinctions for their deep-rooted environmental practices. From sourcing regional produce to championing fermentation and low-waste techniques, these restaurants reflect Singapore’s growing emphasis on eco-conscious dining.

Celebrating Excellence: MICHELIN Guide Special Awards
