Inspired by traditional Argentine restaurants, Pobre Juan opened its first location in 2004 and today has a presence across all five regions of Brazil. Its concept is to offer high-quality produce in a rustic, relaxed setting, defined by warm wood tones, cosy lighting, and the irresistible aroma of the grill. Across all its locations, the selection process for the meats — as well as the fish and seafood featured on the menu — is carried out with the utmost rigour, from the careful sourcing of their origins to the ageing process. From the parrilla come premium cuts such as Bife Ancho, picanha, Ojo de Bife, and rack of lamb, alongside a selection of Wagyu beef. Over the grill, you'll also find options such as Amazonian pirarucu — a prized freshwater fish native to the Amazon — along with prawns... For pudding, we highly recommend trying the irresistible churros or the panqueques — delicate Argentine-style pancakes — both served with the traditional Argentine dulce de leche!
