Upon arrival, guests are invited to begin with an aperitif in the refined bar area with its terrace, an ideal setting in which to savour a magnificent island sunset. We are in Anacapri, in its greener and more residential aspect, far from the more intense currents of Capri’s tourist flow. It is here that the Capri Palace, among the island’s most exclusive hotels, provides the introduction to its two-Michelin-starred restaurant, set within a spacious and elegant room that recalls a contemporary salon. In the kitchen, Andrea Migliaccio delivers a proposal that celebrates the Italian, and above all Campanian, tradition with great vitality, reinterpreted with a modern sensitivity yet always faithful to the generosity of its flavours and its vivid character. The dishes impress with intensity and precision, the first courses in particular, the true protagonists of the journey: from the pasta with reef fish to the richly constructed risotto al ragù napoletano.
