This lovely village inn serves dishes with classical foundations and modern inspirations. The seasons call the shots, and there is a preference for quality produce sourced locally or even grown in the restaurant's own garden. Led by the proprietress, the cordial and competent front-of-house team helps create the welcoming atmosphere. The terrace is delightful in summer. They also have their own distillery.

I grew up on our family farm. Today I work with ingredients such as potatoes, vegetables and herbs from Opa Knapp, as well as meat and fish from the region, and at the end of the meal we love to serve a glass of our house-distilled schnapps. We use solar panels, our own wood for heating, and built the furniture in the restaurant using our own timber.
